A Note Regarding COVID-19

At Wickstrom Service Co., we know that the current climate of uncertainty and anxiety in the face of COVID-19 can be overwhelming. However, we also know that this situation does not take away the need for high-quality heating, cooling, and plumbing services in our area. As a proud member of our local community, we take our role seriously and are committed to doing our part in keeping the community running. We will continue to offer our knowledgeable services while implementing all recommended precautionary measures to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

What We Are Doing To Keep Our Customers & Employees Safe

In accordance with World Health Organization and Center for Disease Control guidelines, we have put several new measures in place, such as:

  • Social distancing: We are limiting face-to-face contact with coworkers by holding online staff meetings and having office staff work remotely. Those who are in the office or out on a job will be maintaining the recommended six feet of distance.
  • Protective coverings: Technicians will carry drop cloths, boot covers, and masks to protect the work area and have as little physical contact as possible while still being able to carry out the job.
  • Increased sanitization: We will be carrying wipes and hand sanitizer with us at all times, and will sanitize commonly-used surfaces in our office, in our vehicles, and around our work area frequently.
  • Employee care: If an employee is feeling sick, they are told to stay home whether their symptoms are related to COVID-19 or not. Further, they must have a doctor’s note indicating that they are completely well before they return to work.

There are things that you can do to help limit the spread of COVID-19 while still getting the service you need!

Just a few precautions you can take include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing the work area, particularly high-traffic surfaces like doorknobs and light switches
  • Limiting how many people are around and in the home during the project
  • Ensuring that no one on the property is sick
  • Employing basic protective measures such as masks while the technician is in your home
  • Being thorough in handwashing and other hygienic practices
